Event Applications
If you are planning or wanting to plan a special event within the City, there are special permits that need to be filled out. Please see the following applications to be completed and submitted to the office. Feel free to contact the office with any questions. All special event must be approved through the Common Council, so please submit you application at least 3 weeks before the event. The sooner the better so all parties can review the event and contact you with any questions or concerns.

City Parking Lot Permit & Parking Regulations
The City of Cortland’s parking permit program provides parking permits for use in any of the nine public parking lots. With over 400 parking spaces available, the city’s downtown lots are a convenient parking alternative for businesses, residents, and downtown visitors.

The City requires a permit or license for food and mobile ice cream vendors, door-to-door vendors and Dairy Parade vendors.
