Mayor Brian Tobin announced today, March 6, 2015, that he requested the City’ Common Council appropriate assistance to owner-occupant homeowners with the cost of addressing frozen pipes resulting from the severe winter.  Due to the funding source identified, only income-eligible homeowners may are eligible for assistance.  Assistance can be provided to those whose gross annual incomes do not exceed the limits in the chart below based on household size. One and two unit homes are eligible.  Funds up to $500 per home can be provided.

The Program will operate similar to the City’s existing Emergency Repair Program.  The Mayor has directed Thoma Development to provide assistance in getting relief to impacted residents.  For further information, contact Thoma Development Consultants at 607-753-1433.
