New Winter Route Offers Expanded Bus Service

Cortland Transit BusStarting in December, Cortland Transit will offer a winter bus route with evening and weekend service as well as a bus route to Virgil and Greek Peak Mountain Resort.

Jan Dempsey, Way2Go Cortland Mobility Management Coordinator at Seven Valleys Health Coalition, is pleased to announce a new Cortland Transit winter bus route. This route begins December 1, 2012 and continues until April 1, 2013, offering expanded bus service including evening and weekend service as well as service to Virgil and Greek Peak.

This trial service is comprised of two separate routes: one route will provide service in the City of Cortland and the Town of Cortlandville, and the other will service Virgil and Greek Peak Mountain Resort. Buses will run seven days a week on these routes and will offer residents expanded service into the evening. Exact times vary based on the day and specific route.
